Chimney sweeping has moved into the 21st century and we are using a powerful vacuum with 3 stage filtration to eliminate dust and soot entering your property, here is the expert service you should expect to receive.
We carry out a visual survey of your chimney at ground level before work begins and report findings to you relating to safety.
We ask you to remove ornoments and precious objects from working area for safe keeping.
We sheet your floors with our clean heavy duty sheeting. You are welcome to place additional sheeting however we always carry adequate amounts of clean sheets.
The fire place will recieve a dust tight seal and a vacuum cleaner will be installed to collect soot and debris.
Your chimney will be swept using modern equipment suitable for the job at hand. We pride ourselves on safe working practices and will as a precaution wear protective clothing and dust mask.
Upon completion all debris will be double bagged and placed in customers waste recepticle.
You will be issued with a certificate of sweeping upon completion.
We are registered with gas safe and HETAS so can disconnect, service and install all appliances.
If you require a gas fire to be removed we can legally and safely cap off the gas supply.
The sweeping of chimneys is a necessary form of maintenance, it would follow that such work can reveal faults such as lose chimney pots ,cowls and unstable brickwork. Flue Check Chimney Services cannot be held responsible for any costs relating to subsequent remedial works to such faults.
